The Waste Treatment and Final Disposal Unit (UTD Suzano) aims to correctly treat collected and received waste, thereby avoiding environmental liabilities and damage to public health, through the commitments assumed below:
• Ensure the waste collection, transportation and treatment service in accordance with applicable legislation and other applicable requirements, including the requirements of relevant interested parties;
•Continuously improve methods, systems and processes in order to minimize the use of natural resources and improve environmental performance in relation to the current context;
•Ensure the efficiency of emission control systems, aiming to protect and prevent pollution and other specific commitments relevant to the current context of UTD;
• Raise awareness among employees, customers, suppliers and interested parties so that they act in an environmentally correct manner.
